I love facilitating workshops! Teaching is a deep rooted passion of mine.

My art programs involve creative exploration + personal development to cultivate healing and play.

I’ve lead art programs since 2012 for all ages and backgrounds from schools systems, lock down facilities, retirement centers, hospitals, corporate business groups, teen after school programs, art galleries and homeless shelters. I’ve also created curriculum for organizations in Charlotte and across North Carolina.

EXPLORING IDENTITY THROUGH VISUAL ART:

Discover self expression through visual elements in this empowering and self-love based workshop. You’ll learn several art techniques and play with different mediums as you explore what defines you and what is not yours to carry. You’ll also learn some personal development tools to support you in stepping into more of who you are and owning your own power. Teens, adults and elderly appropriate.

FINDING YOUR ART STYLE:

Which artists speak to you? What themes in their work are you drawn to and how to do you discover your own artistic hand within them? Through creative play and a journey through different visual artists you’ll discover what mediums, techniques and subject matter you can cultivate in your art journey. Can be adapted for all ages.

COLOR THEORY:

A wonderful journey through colors and how to express yourself through them using solid colors, patterns and blends. Learn blending techniques for any of the following mediums (oil pastels, pastels, acrylic paint, watercolor, marker, colored pencil). Can be adapted for all ages.

BOOTSTRAP PARADOX MANIFESTATION:

What is the bootstrap paradox? It’s a time travel theory where you go into the future to steal something, bring it to the past so that it creates itself, becoming its own origin. In simple terms, it’s self fulfilling prophecy. In this fun and highly creative program you’ll be heisting a part of your future self and bringing it here to the present, to build confidence and self-trust, all through visual art exercises. Teen and adult appropriate.
