How it works
WHEN DOES THE LIVE PAINTING TAKE PLACE AT THE WEDDING? Often when I am asked to live paint for a wedding, I will suggest that the live painting be done at the reception so the audience is not torn between watching the wedding ceremony and the painting. It also gives the couple a chance to see the progression of the painting, which has been something they’ve enjoyed during their reception.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE PAINTING AT THE END? The couple will get to take the painting home with them. I use acrylic paint, so it will be done and dry by the end of the evening.
WHAT IS THE SIZE + COST OF HIRING A LIVE PAINTER? I am more affordable than most live wedding painters. My prices range by size of canvas and start at 24x30 canvas at $339. If you would like a smaller size, anything smaller is doable at a flat rate cost of $239.
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME? You’ll need to give me the date of the wedding, location and what time to be there to set up. It helps to know the wedding colors so I can be prepared. I will send you an invoice and you can pay up front or a down payment of half the cost, the other half day of.
WHAT IF I AM NOT LOCAL TO THE AREA? I have a travel fee based on gas prices and mileage to cover anything outside of a 40 minute radius. I am located in the Concord / Charlotte area of North Carolina.
DO YOU HAVE A REFUND POLICY? If for any reason you are unhappy with your painting, you’ll be refunded half of the price. The other half will cover my time + materials.
